The history of Arkadia begins with the family's deep involvement in olive cultivation in the area of Kyparissia, Messinia, a place with a long and vibrant tradition in olive production. Our company's roots date back to the 1970s, when the pioneer of the family business, Priest Panagiotis Stathopoulos, known as Papakokkinos, created an 80-acre olive grove in the Pyrgakia area of Kalo Nero in Trifylia, Messinia.
From those early years, olive cultivation was based on values that remain unchanged to this day: respect for the land, commitment to quality, and love for authentic Greek products. The vision was clear and bold for its time: "To take our olives to the other side of the world."
Over the years, this family business gradually evolved. The next generation took on the task of systematically organizing production, investing in product standardization, and creating a stable and reliable commercial identity. Thus, the name Arkadia became synonymous with quality raw materials, consistency, and responsibility.
A decisive moment in the company's history was the creation of its own processing and standardization unit, as well as the adoption of international food safety standards, which paved the way for new partnerships and the development of export activity. From simple olive cultivation, Arkadia has transformed itself into a modern, high-quality agricultural products business, without ever losing its family character.
Today, Arkadia continues to grow with the same zeal and passion that gave birth to it. Remaining faithful to traditional values and investing in knowledge, quality, and consistency, it honors the original vision of the first generation and carries it into the future.
